TV comic tops the bill at village comedy night

Well-known TV comedian Angela Barnes tops the bill at the Padbury Comedy Night on Saturday.

Described as ‘brilliantly funny’ by Sarah Millican, Ms Barnes has appeared on Mock The Week, Stand-Up For The Week and Russell Howard’s Good News.

She will be supported by Philip Simon and Archie Maddocks.

Hosting the night will be 22-year-old local comedian Patrick Morris, who has appeared on Big Brother’s Bit On The Side and has supported Russell Kane on tour.

Next month he will be taking his third show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Tickets are £10 and £8 for concessions, with a free drink for those who reserve a ticket in advance.

There will be a licensed bar selling wine, beer and soft drinks.

Doors open at 7.30 and the show starts at 8pm.
