BUCKINGHAM 1st XI extended their winning run to nine games with a 3-0 victory at Stourport, which puts them eight points clear at the top of the Investec Conference West table.
Unusually, the visitors started poorly and were unable to find their passing rhythm with Stourport creating the first real chance of the game.
But Buckingham survived and immediately went ahead as a flowing passing move down the left involving Kat Nicholson, Lorraine Campbell and Fi Farley resulted in a Joe Ellis shot being touched in by Jess Bloom.
That goal allowed Buckingham to take control and push the home side back with Bloom again deflecting the ball home for a second goal near half time.
In the second half, Buckingham played positively and were rewarded when Bloom completed her hat-trick after a deft touch and neat turn saw her one-on-one with the goalkeeper.
More chances came for the visitors but Buckingham settled for a 3-0 victory that sees them go even further clear with one match to go until the Christmas break, away to Exeter tomorrow.
