The 43-year-old woman from Bicester arrested for posting a racially abusive message on social media yesterday (Sunday) has been bailed until November 30.
The woman was arrested after the post on the Blinks of Bicester Facebook page said they would ‘ban anyone from the Islamic faith’. It is believed the post was put up following the terrorist attacks in Paris on Friday, which killed 129 people.
She was arrested under section 19 and the Public Order Act, which relates to the display of written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting with the intention of stirring up racial hatred, and for producing malicious communications.
