Van overturns on M40

AN injured man was freed by firefighters after a van overturned on the M40 on Wednesday morning.

A fire crew from Bicester, one from Banbury, and a rescue vehicle from Kidlington were called to the accident between Junction 10 and Junction 11 at just after 10.20am.

A van had come to rest on its side on the hard shoulder, and a lane was closed while the vehicle was recovered.

The injured man was left with South Central Ambulance Service. No other vehicles are thought to have been involved.
