After the Localism Bill promised a bigger say to the people who matter most, the south Northants village chosen to carryout a pilot exercise is ready to publish its Neighbourhood Plan.

This weekend Yardley Gobion Parish Council will hold an exhibition to launch a six week long public consultation on the document.

The exhibition will present the Draft Neighbourhood Plan, and how it evolved following contributions from residents, community groups, and landowners.

The plan contains proposals for specific sites and development policies affecting the village.

The exhibition at The Chapel is open for four hours from noon, Saturday, June 29, and from 2pm Sunday, June, 30.
