Give us 60 Minutes! – Café (Creative Activities For Elderly people)

Many of us lead busy lives with little spare time to even think about volunteering but Café has the solution. This Brackley-based group is looking for volunteers on an occasional basis - just for an hour.

Do you have a creative hobby you could share? Or could you give a short, illustrated talk about a subject that interests you?

Perhaps you might like to lead a friendly group chat over a cup of tea? If you could give as little as one hour to help elderly people living in local care homes and sheltered housing why not get in touch?

They are looking for people to volunteer on an occasional basis. No CRB check will be required. Cafe will arrange the visits for you and can offer support and training, if required.

Could your organisation use volunteers?

Have you thought about how your organisation could use volunteers? Every year, snvb matches hundreds of volunteers with roles in a variety of organisations.

We also offer ongoing support and training in recruiting, retaining and managing volunteers.

If you would like to explore how volunteers could fit in with your group contact Nicola Shaw, on 01327 358264 or email nicola@snvb.org.uk
