In Buckingham on Friday, January 10, independent cinema The Film Place is showing comedy drama Frances Ha, directed by Noah Baumbach, about a young woman making her way through upper class New York City. The film, starring Greta Gerwig as Frances, starts at 7.30pm.

And at 7.30pm on Saturday, January 11, the Film Place is showing the latest Richard Curtis comedy About Time, about a young man, Tim (Domhnall Gleeson), who bumbles his way through life and love but who has a power inherited from his dad (Bill Nighy) – he can go back in time.

But Tim finds out that his unique gift can’t save him from the sorrows and ups and downs that affect all families, everywhere.
