BURGLARS got away with a large amount of cash after breaking in to the NatWest Bank in Buckingham early on Tuesday morning.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the burglary at the Market Hill bank branch, which took place between 4.30am and 4.45am.

The burglars forced internal doors, then forced entry to the safe of the ATM and stole a large amount of cash.

PC Hollie Cromarty, from Aylesbury CID, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident. I am particularly keen to hear about any vehicles that were in the area and people who were acting suspiciously.”
