Work on Brackley Town Hall will start on August 19.
Brackley Town Council has commissioned specialist stonemasons, OG Stonemasonry, to undertake a programme of minor repairs to the town hall, and have now received all of the necessary approvals to start work.
Brackley mayor, Peter Rawlinson said: “We are delighted that we can now get started on this important work.”
The Georgian Group which has helped to fund the project, say the repairs are likely to cost thousands.
A separate investigation into the roof of the hall which could cost more will also be considered.
The repairs were identified during regular monitoring of the hall.
OG Stonemasonry, which is based in Witney, has worked on buildings such as Windsor Castle and Magdalen College School in Oxford.
