ARTWORK by school children from Brackley and the surrounding villages will go on display in Kings Sutton this weekend.
The King’s Sutton Arts and Crafts Exhibition and Market will features work by pupils from Brackley Juniors, Farthinghoe Primary, Waynflete Infants, King’s Sutton Primary, Newbottle and Charlton Primary and Magdalen College School.
Now in its eighth year the event will be held across two venues. The King’s Sutton Memorial Hall will feature crafts displays, exhibitions of quilting and textiles, workshops, sales and trade tables and refreshments. While the church of St Peter and St Paul will be host to an exciting display of original art and photography by the Deddington and District Photographic Society, alongside the work for school children. The Church Room adjacent to the church will provide the venue for adult workshops in beading and silk painting Workshops for children in the Memorial Hall will include bunting making and bag decorating.
The event takes place this Saturday and Sunday from 11am and 10am respectively.
Entry is £1 but free to children.
