Sponne School musicians took part in a special Proms concert at Whittlebury Hall.
The concert saw 110 musicians and included the Sponne Concert Band, brass band, senior choir and visiting championship section brass band.
The groups played to a capacity audience of 450 people, who were impressed with the talents of soloists as well as the massed bands.
The evening ended with the traditional Last Night Of The Proms music, Fantasia on Brtish Sea by Henry Wood with audience participation led by Harry Mason.
Morgan Burns lead the singing of Jerusalem and Eleanor Blamires with land Of Hope and Glory, duringwhich many flags were waved.
