Witney made steady progress in reply but were ultimately undone by the bowling of Robin Pritchard who returned a magnificent 7-55, including the final wicket as the visitors were dismissed 15 runs short.

Town finished on 193-6 with Kevin D’Silva also unbeaten on 58, but Town ultimately fell short – not helped by the fact that they failed to field a full side.
