The Buckingham-based GPRM team officially launched their 2016 season at Snetterton on Tuesday.
GPRM will contest the British GT Championship with two of their self-developed Toyota GT86 cars in the GT4 category of Britain’s leading GT series.
Stefan Hodgetts has been named as the lead driver of the number 86 car, the team’s remaining three drivers have yet to be announced.
Having carried a green and white colour scheme during 2015, the Toyota cars have reverted to the colours used during the 2014 season and will carry the numbers 68 and 86.
Thirty-three cars have signed to contest the full British GT Championship season, 15 of those are the class leading GT3 examples.
In GT4, GPRM will face opposition from seventeen cars including a Porsche Cayman driven by Joey Foster and Alex Reed, and two Beechdean Aston Martins.
Silverstone’s Jordan Albert makes a leap to GT this year from BRDCF4, and will drive a V8 Vantage for Beechdean sharing a car with Jack Bartholomew.
A second Beechdean GT4 Aston Martin will be driven by Jamie Chadwick, and star of BBC TV’s ‘Bake Off’, Paul Hollywood. The British GT Championship kicks-off at Brands Hatch next month. CB/JB
