Ardley on the look out for young stars

ARDLEY United are appealing to the local area for new players as their first pre-season training session for both seniors and U18s approaches.

The U18s begin training on at 7pm Wednesday, July 4, at the club ground.

All players are invited to attend for training, a trial and a possible place in the young Blues squad for next season.

The club is keen to attract new players and they make it clear that anyone new going along will be made welcome by the management team and current group of existing players.

The team have also announced they will travel to the Bisham Abey complex to take on Marlow for their first pre-season friendly kicking off at 6.30pm.

Meanwhile, the senior team’s preparations for the new season gathers pace with their first pre-season friendly less than a month away.

On Tuesday, July 17, Ardley will host Woodford United at 7.30pm before entertaining Dereham Town (July 21, 3pm), North Leigh (July 24, 7.30pm) and Southam United (July 28, 3pm).

They then face two away trips to Old Woodstock Town on Tuesday, July 31, at 7.30pm and Banbury United on August 3 at 7.45pm.
