Buckingham Athletic recorded their first league win for three months on Saturday with a 3-1 victory at bottom of the table Langford.
The lowly hosts took a surprise early lead, but Athletic, who have repeatedly been frustrated by the weather in 2014, were level within minutes through Frankey Tarrant before Paul Dearlove gave the visitors a 2-1 half-time lead.
Simon King then missed a penalty two minutes after the restart to give the home side hope, but he made amends on 71 minutes with his side’s third goal. The victory takes Athletic up to 13th in SSML Division One.
