Steve Howkins scored eight goals in four days to help Ardley United to two emphatic wins, the first a 6-1 victory over Wantage Town in the league.
The hosts took a mere six minutes to open the scoring as Joe Erye netted from close range following a one-two with Howkins.
Howkins then scored three first half goals to give Ardley a 4-1 half time lead.
He then got his fourth just after half time while Jason Costello rifled in to complete the victory.
Ardley then racked up an even bigger win on Tuesday to progress into the third round of the Hellenic Football League Floodlit Challenge Cup, beating Didcot Town reserves 7-1.
Once again Howkins was the star performer, scoring another four goals to take his tally to eight in the space of four days while Adam Garner grabbed a brace and Ben Thomas netted once.
On Saturday, free-scoring Ardley host Newbury, who are one place below them in the league.
