Mursley kick-off preparations for new season

Mursley United manager Mark Hardie took a squad of 17 to Olney Town on Saturday to play in a pre-season friendly which comprised three sessions of 30 minutes each.

Overall, within the 90 minutes, Olney won 3-2, scoring all their goals in the second ‘third’, while Mursley scored their goals in the first and last third.

Hardie is joined this season, as head coach, by former Buckingham Town and Winslow United head coach, Kit Bamber, returning to the club he managed from 2006-2010.

Mursley United continue their pre-season campaign with a home fixture against Ampthill Town next Wednesday at 7pm.
