Winslow United produced their two best displays of the season this week to beat Bedford 4-1 and thrash Sun Postal 5-1 in SSML Division One.

United are now up to 15th having languished near the bottom of the table for most of the season.

Up against Bedford at the weekend, Winslow took the lead through Matthew Brady’s free-kick that flew into the top corner from 25 yards.

Claude Seanla then finished well after being set up by Vinny Shrieves to double the lead at half time before Drew Mitten added a third.

The visitors pulled one back but Seanla scored his second in the final minutes.

Winslow then looked to back up that victory when they hosted Sun Postal on Tuesday and they made the perfect start with Seanla smashing home a volley.

The visitors levelled but Winslow regained the lead through Shrieves and Seanla added his second before Shrieves scored twice more to complete his hat-trick and round off a fine display.
