There were several fine performances from Bicester athletes as they teamed up with Banbury Harriers for the first round of the U13 and U15 section of the National Junior Development League.
It was another good day for Holly Griffiths-Brown who was fourth in the A-string 800m in a time of 2.43 minutes before she took the B-string long jump with a leap of 3.85 metres.
Connor Wilce was also in excellent form to finish third in the U15 long jump (5.22m) and the B-string shot putt (8.09m) while Tom Couzens won the B-string 100m (14.3secs) and long jump (4.10m).
Elsewhere, Rhiannon Penfold was fourth in the B-string 100m, sixth in the 200m and threw a personal best in the A-string discus.
Also producing impressive performances were Jake Cherry, Zac Wilce, Tom Gould, Amy Gould, and Holly Hunter.
There were also some fine efforts from Bicester athletes in the recent open evening meeting staged at Oxford with Mark Smith, Connor Wilce, Bevan Starrett, Dan Evans and Tom Gould all impressing.
