A late Wokingham goal denied Buckingham IIs victory in an entertaining 3-3 draw in Trysports Premier Two.
The visitors were rewarded for a strong start when, on 15 minutes, a well-struck shot from Ellen Hudson found the back of the net.
Wokingham were controversially awarded two penalty corners in quick succession and they converted both to turnaround the match and take a 2-1 lead.
But Buckingham fought back and great play by Tracy Jones led to her shot being deflected into the Wokingham net before good link-up play between Jones and Andrea Freshwater enabled Ford player of the match Fiona Farley to score from close range and give Buckingham a 3-2 half-time lead.
The visitors produced a disappointing second half performance, though, as they struggled to take control of the game and allowed Wokingham to snatch a point with a goal from a short corner.
