UNIQUE Boxing promotions will be hosting a jam-packed night of top class boxing at the Oxford Hotel on Friday, August 3, starting at 7pm.
The Unique Fitness Boxing Club will be up against some of the finest boxers from across the country in a night that will see the debut for five of Unique’s boxing team.
Undefeated professional boxer Daza Usher, from Little Chesterton, is head coach at the Unique Fitness Boxing gym.
John Moore, Jack Wheeler, Paul Jennings, Anthony Weaver and Luke Bucknell will all be lacing their gloves up for the first time after numerous hours of preparation in the gym.
Being local lads, they are eager to show their supporters the skills they have obtained in the gym.
Meanwhile, Matt Williams will be making his fourth appearance in the ring under the Unique Fitness banner.
Williams has won two of his previous three contests and is looking to make a winning return to the ring when he squares up against Tom Watson from the Bedford Boxing Academy for a welterweight contest.
Kidlington middleweights Aron Howlett and Kevin Perry will both be competing in their second contests under the tutelage of Usher as they both look to picking up a victory in the Unique colours.
Elsewhere, heavyweight prospect Carl Ellis is looking forward to a return to the ring after being sidelined with a shoulder injury for six months.
He will be challenging local fighter Vladimir Koshta from the Senshi Martial Arts club.
Experienced middleweight John Butler will also be taking on local opposition when he faces teenager Tallon Clarke.
Butler is an experienced boxer who is always a fan favourite when he competes due to his all-action style.
This annual event has sold out in its last three years and therefore anyone interested in experiencing an exciting night of entertainment are advised to book their places.
Tickets are priced at £25 with no admittance on the door for anyone without a ticket. For more information, contact Daza Usher on 01869 600367.
