BUCKINGHAM Golf Club’s midweek stableford has been won by Dave Thompson after he fired 38 points.
Judd O’Connor came second while Des Pye was third – both on 37 points.
Meanwhile, the juniors took part in the Fort Trophy with Oliver Clarke in the prizes for the third straight week – taking the trophy after shooting a net 69.
Ben Oliver was second on 70 and Edward Jenks (71) third.
Garry Gregory’s 66 took the National Playing Fields Association Medal, one shot ahead of Dave Dallaway, who in turn beat Clarke on countback.
In Sunday’s Dr Stableford – round 16 – first place went to Michael Schofield with 41 points.
In second place, losing out to Schofield on countback, was Des Lovett while Paul Skinner was third with 40.
Last week’s main competition for the ladies was the MacMillan Cancer Spoon with Jayne Collins winning on 40 points, which beat Margaret Dean by three while Karen Robinson (36) was third.
Finally, the Beryl Cup was won by Karen Robison (36) with Sheila Harkness second and Delcie Francis third.
