BOURTON Meadow Academy have retained two championship titles at the Buckingham School Sports Partnership Finals Day on Tuesday.
Four teams competed against seven other finalist schools from the county in a range of different sports.
The first success of the day went to the Year 4 hockey team as they came out triumphant as did the Year 5 badminton team.
Meanwhile, the Year 6 netballers came a close second and the Year 4 badminton team finished in a respectable third.
Looking ahead, the Year 4 hockey team will now prepare for the next round of the Bucks Youth Games and will join the already successful tennis team at the event.
Bourton Meadow Academy have had an extremely successful year, winning every event they have entered in the Buckingham School Sports Partnership.
Chris Coates, head of PE and school sport, said: “I am extremely proud of the way that the children compete and train.
“They have a strong will to succeed and hold a great deal of talent.
“A great deal of thanks should also be given to Ema Howard and Caroline Collie and their staff in the Buckingham School Sports Partnership as without them, the children would not have these opportunities.”
Bourton Meadow Academy still have the Year 6 games, cricket finals and their sports day to look forward to in the coming weeks.
