ANYONE who is interested in running but doesn’t know where to start is being urged to get involved with Run England.

Run England is the official recreational running project of England Athletics.

The aim of Run England is to get the whole nation running regardless of age, fitness level, aspiration, background or location.

They plan to do this by providing accessible running groups for beginners in all areas that are aimed for people who are keen on running or would like to help others enjoy running.

The benefits of running as part of an organised group, as opposed to trying on your own, are the support , help and motivation you receive from the group leader as well as your fellow group members.

You will also be taught how to run effectively and safely and each group leader is a nationally recognised qualification.

Run England have links with Buckingham and Stowe Running Club, who have qualified Running Leaders within the club.

If you would like to join a group or set up your own group and become a group leader, contact Sean Dullaghan, who is Aylesbury Vale’s Running Activator, at
