Both Open race winners at the Farmers Bloodhounds’ Point-to-Point at Whitfield last month will attempt to repeat their success when returning to the racecourse for the Grafton Point-to-Point this Sunday.

Cutlass Silver, who jumped the last in front that day, will be out to reverse the form when Major Decision sprung a surprise in the Ladies Open under Katy Lyons.

Karen Lawther’s No Panic enjoyed the quick ground in a three-runner Men’s Open at the last meeting but will face a stiffer task here. Last-time-out winners Art Trend and Irish Rebel are two to consider in opposition.

The pick for the Hunt Members is 11-year-old Fermat, who returned from a four-year absence at Kingston Blount last month to chase home subsequent winner Duke Special.

Squirell Esquire has strong claims in the Open Maiden, having finished runner-up to Robobar here last month.

Admission is £20 per car with a £10 reduction for single occupants. Pedestrians are £5. Under 16s are admitted free of charge.

To accompany the racing, attractions include childrens’ activity centre, vintage cars, sheep shearing, sulgrave ferrets, face painting, trade stands, licensed bar and hot and cold food.
