FOOTBALL: League champions Brackley Town held their annual awards night and topscorer Elliot Sandy (pictured) scooped the Player of the Year prize nominated by his team-mates.
Sandy fired a memorable hat-trick against St Albans in Brackley’s last game of the season.
Supporters’ Player of the Year went to fellow striker Steve Diggin, another player who has been in outstanding form all season.
Clubman of the Year was Jordan Marshall and the award for outstanding achievement went to Andy and Angie Gee.
Junior Clubman of the Year was also Jordan Marshall.
Owen Story and Joe Magunda received an award for making 100 appearances for Saints and Elliot Sandy for 200 appearances.
Brackley are stepping upto play in Conference North next season after winning the Evostik Southern League Premier Division title to cap a tremendous season.
