Town youngsters on top in penalty shoot-out competition


YOUTH FOOTBALL: Members of Brackley Town U9 squad (pictured) took part in the Stanair Cup Penalty Shoot during half time of the League 2 fixture between Northampton Town and Rotherham United at Sixfields.

Up against a strong Kingslingbury side the Brackley youngsters won 4-3.

The only downside was an injury to their keeper who suffered a fractured wrist while making a save.

The team are through to the quarter finals which take place in the New Year.

The team are staging a fund raising comedy snail race evening next Friday at the clubhouse, November 11 starting at 7pm. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
