Sebastian Vettel scored a record-equalling ninth consecutive victory at last Sunday’s Brazilian Grand Prix, writes James Beckett.
The German has dominated the 2013 World Championship and romped to the world title by a margin of over 150 points. Victory in the final race of the season at Interlagos further cemented his dominance as he finished ahead of teammate Mark Webber, who was taking part in his final F1 race.
Nico Rosberg was fifth for the Brackley-based Mercedes team, with Lewis Hamilton ninth. Daniel Ricciardo scored one point on his last drive for Bicester-based Toro Rosso, and Paul di Resta was 11th for Force India.
