Westbury are the league champions of the Buckingham Midweek League.
They finished on the same points as Brackley, but won the league on runrate.
Westbury beat Fringford by eight wickets. S.Foote hit an unbeaten 34 in Fringford’s
total of 99-5.
Westbury replied with 100-2, with G.Stapleton 48 not out. Brackley clinched the runners-up spot by comfortably beating Syresham by eight wickets. R.Cartwright took 4-17 as Syresham were bowled out for 68. In reply an unbeaten 37 by E.Cartwright guided Brackley to their winning total of 69-2.
Great Horwood completed their season with a 42-run win over Gawcott. S.Ridgway hit 81 and A.Armitage 39 in Horwood’s total of 157-4. In reply Gawcott finished on 115-8, A.Piggott 23 not out. Marsh Gibbon had a narrow three run win
over Maids Moreton. Batting first Marsh posted 100-4 with W.Platts 52 and S.Black 21.
Moreton’s gallant reply fell just short on 97-4, N.Norman 35 not out and G.Robinson 28.
In the other match Thornborough beat Preston Bissett by three wickets.
