BUCKINGHAM: Comedy night, Old Town Hall, featuring Adam Bloom with support acts Richard Morton and John Gordillo. Over 18s only. Tickets on sale at Villiers Hotel and the Old Gaol. Doors open 7.30pm for 8pm performance.

BLISWORTH: Live Sunday lunch jazz, The Walnut Tree, Christine Woodcock’s Stackyard Stompers, from noon, £7. Quiz night, 8pm, £1 per person admission, cash prize for winning team and bonus landlord’s round to win a free round of drinks.

WINSLOW: Winslow and District Fundraising Committee For Willen Hospice coffee morning, Public Hall, on November 3, 9.30am until noon, tea, coffee and soft drinks, mince pies and biscuits, cakes and preserves, raffle, tombola, books and jigsaws, League of Friends shop goods, bric-a-brac, knitteds.

BUCKINGHAM: Best Dressed Guy competition. Bring your guy along to the paving outside the Old Gaol on November 3. Judging at 1pm. Entrant must be under 16. Prizes for the best entry from a group £50, £10 for the best individual entry. No entry forms or entry fee needed.

THORNBOROUGH: Traditional Guy Fawkes Night, November 3, torch lit procession at 6.30pm from the Two Brewers pub, gates open at 7pm, entry £5 adults, £3 senior citizens and children, fire lit at 7.15pm, firework display from 7.30pm to 8pm, hot drinks, food.
