New classes in calligraphy and beginners’ drawing are comiing to an art school’s autumn term.
Cindy Wonnacott, who has joined Buckingham Art School and is an approved tutor for the Society of Scribes and Illustrators, will be teaching the art of calligraphy on Fridays, from 1pm to 3pm.
Beginners’ drawing classes will be held on Thursdays, from 1pm to 3pm, and will be taught by Emily Brady.
Also joining the art school’s team of six teachers is Mita Vaghela, who specialises in contemporary sculpture. From September, she will be lead tutor for the school’s Thursday evening mixed media class.
The art school will be holding demonstrations on September 5, from 7pm to 9pm, to include calligraphy, Manga, traditional portraiture, sculpture, printmaking and contemporary art.
