Popular band the Red Bullets are headlining at a village community event in August.

The Buckingham-based band are playing at the Thornborough Cricket Club Summer Party, on the Sir Harry Moore Playing Fields on Sunday, August 24.

Another local band, Counting Colours, will also be playing at the summer party, which starts at 7pm.

The event will have a bar from The Two Brewers, a pig roast and a coffee van.

Tickets are available from The Two Brewers or online at www.theredbullets.com/gigs

Red Bullets followers in the know, who got in early enough, will be watching the band play in the Big Top on Silverstone Woodlands Campsite on Friday, July 4. Sadly for those without tickets, this event is now sold out.

A Red Bullets spokesman said: “Silverstone Woodlands is the official and best of all the campsites on offer at the British Grand Prix and the team here have created a true festival atmosphere which enhances with each year that passes.”
