Today, Friday

Tomorrow, Saturday

PAULERSPURY: Paulerspury Horticultural Society annual show, in the village hall, doors open to the public at 2pm, for £1 entry, 4.15pm - presentation of trophies, followed by collection of exhibits unless donated for the auction, 4.45pm, auction of produce followed by the raffle draw, entry forms must be completed and handed into the village hall between 7pm and 9pm on August 1, entries to be staged between 8am and 10.30am, schedules and entry forms from the show secretary (01327 811789) or the society president (01327 811288).

BUCKINGHAM: Buckingham Athletic Sports and Social Club, 8pm till 11pm, live music, 1950s/60s night with Sync the Bismarck and Tru 60s Feel. Tickets £3 each, available from the clubhouse Friday Night and Saturday afternoon.

LILLINGSTONE DAYRELL: Cream teas, Hall Farm, 3pm to 6pm, proceeds in aid of Project Street Life.

CHARNDON: Family fun day in aid of Help For Heroes, 1pm until 5pm at Charndon Village Hall, Main Street, stalls and attractions including bouncy castles, face painter, candyfloss, merry-go-round, children’s entertainment, nail art, raffle, refreshments, licensed bar, trade stands, free entry, to hold a stall, contact Melissa on 01296 730279.

Tuesday, August 7

BUCKINGHAM: Free youth event, Chandos Park, noon to 4.30pm. Crazy golf, bouncy castle, space hoppers and space hopper track, face painting.

Wednesday, August 8

BUCKINGHAM: Every Wednesday at Salvation Army Hall, coffee morning and bric-a-brac stall, 10am to noon, gentle exercise from 11am.
