CLAYDON Panto Group’s first ever musical production opens next weekend.
The group secured a contract with Stage Musicals of New York to perform the MGM Musical and began its search for Dorothy and her friends back in August.
Sixteen-year-old Rose Le Geyt from, Hillesden, landed the lead role despite being a newcomer to the group, after seeing the poster advertising the auditions in the chip shop.
The panto is on Fridays and Saturdays, January 28 and 29, and February 4 and 5 at Steeple Claydon Village Hall, with Saturday matinees.
Tickets are on sale in Steeple Claydon shops and Post Office.
