People will be skating on thin ice at MK Theatre this week, but they know what they are doing - they are The Imperial Ice Stars, after all. If they can’t do it, then no-one can!

The impressive, award-winning movers return to us following their stunning 2012 delivery of Swan Lake on Ice, and come here direct from a worldwide tour.

This is Sleeping Beauty, sure, but with more adrenalin-rich, dramatic performance than we bet you’ve ever seen before.

Tchaikovsky’s magnificent music will accompany mind-blowing high-speed leaps and throws, graceful and sublime ice dancing, awe-inspiring acrobatics and aerial gymnastics.

And we haven’t even mentioned the special effects!

Russian Olympic coach Tatiana Tarasova and acclaimed artistic director Tony Mercer have combined forces to take contemporary dance to new heights, and with 26 Olympic, World, European and National Championship skaters involved, you can be sure of a hot performance on the cold stuff.

Sleeping Beauty on Ice begins a five-day stay at the venue, from Tuesday.

Tickets start at £10 and rise to £27.50.
