Buckingham Town Council Best Dressed Guy Competition, 1pm, outside the Old Gaol. Entrants must be under 16. Free entry, £50 for the best entry from a group, £10 for best individual entry.

Buckingham Inner Wheel soup lunch at the community centre, from noon to 2pm. Homemade soup, crusty bread, mince pies and tea/coffee. Proceeds to local charities, entrance £5.

Cancer Research UK Relay For Life launch party and information evening at the Old Gaol, 7.30pm, 07811 389791 for more.


Whist drive, 7.30pm, at the community centre, entrance £2.50, refreshments, proceeds to go to furnishing the branch surgery.

Thornton College School for Girls baby and children’s nearly new sale, sports hall, November 23, 2pm to 4pm, admission £1 adults, children free, all profits to Thornton College School for Girls nominated charities, due to space constraints, no prams will be permitted inside.
