Future and ongoing events


The Old Gaolers’ present All Gas and Gaiters, music, sketches and readings, an irreverent and hilarious look at the world of vicars, clerics and other ne’er-do-wells, by the likes of Anthony Trollope, George Gershwin, Rowan Atkinson and Alan Bennett.In aid of Saint Mary’s Church Thornborough, February 28, 7.30pm at St Mary’s Church. The Big Brew, March 1, 10am to noon at the Old Gaol, celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight, enjoy Fairtrade tea or coffee, homemade cakes to raise funds for Traidcraft Exchange.


Pancake race, March 1, on the Green outside St Peter and St Paul Church, from 11am, age groups five and under, six to 11yrs, 12 to 16yrs and adults open class, competitors are required to wear a headscarf and apron and to bring their own frying pan.
