Skate park competition, 11am to 4pm, hosted by Team Extreme. Paid for and organised by Buckingham Town Youth Council, open to ages 11 to 18.
Slapton Church fete, 2.30pm to be held at Slapton Manor, entertainment from Charles Sheinman jazz pianist, cake stall, bric-a-brac, plants, skittles, raffle for fillet of beef and champagne, family sports day races. All in aid of church funds and the maintenance of Medieval wall paintings.

St Peter’s Day annual fun day, noon to midnight, mini-music festival, live music, barbecue, bar, tombola, raffle, stalls, children’s activities, tug of war and chicken racing, free admission, www.pedstock.co.uk.
LeckFayre barbecue, from 6.30pm, all proceeds to the restoration fund of the church bells, adults £8.50, children £5, under 5s free, cost includes variety of local meats, salad and pudding, bring a chair, there will be a bar. Contact 01280 860488.
