Fire crews tackle large leakage of kerosene in Waddesdon

Firefighters tackled an incident in Waddesdon last night (Thursday) when 2,500 litres of kerosene leaked from a tank.

Two crews were called to School Lane at 6.10pm when the flammable liquid leaked.

One crew based in Aylesbury attended and they used an environmental protection kit, booms and absorbent mats to tackle the spillage.

The incident was left with the Environment Agency.
