Quarrendon School’s class of 76 were reunited at the Holiday Inn, Aylesbury earlier this month, possibly one of the last big events to be held before social distancing.

And the event was perfect timing, because after that events started to be cancelled, and now people will have to wait to see each other again because Aylesbury Vale and beyond is in Covid-19 lockdown!

The reunion was put together by ex-pupils Jane Jouanny, John Record, David Edwards, Bradley Bowey and Neil Hrycyszyn.

The lifelong school friends have since become professions including builders, a chaplin, an aircraft pilot, nurse, disc jockey, engineers and an entertainer, and all raised their glasses at the event.

The reunion, has taken 10 months to put together with tracing and locating people, sourcing old school pictures (which were displayed on the night) and putting together the buffet.
