People warned to expect travel disruption, delays, loss of power and interruption to some services

The Met Office yellow weather warning for Milton Keynes and Bucks remains in place from between 9pm through to 3pm tomorrow (Thursday).

Forecasters have warned strong winds and heavy, blustery showers are on the way, bringing disruption MK, Aylesbury, wider Bucks and much of the country.

The Met Office has warned people to expect:

- Delays for high-sided vehicles on exposed routes and bridges

- Some short term loss of power and other services is possible

- Some delays to road, rail, air and ferry transport are likely

- Probably some bus and train services affected, with some journeys taking longer
